Makeup Artist
| Jobs : Job Profiles A makeup artist has the role of working to a well defined brief to create a desired look. This could be anything from makeup for stage or screen, to making a TV presenter look right under the bright lights of the studio. Creativity is a key skill, as is a great technical knowledge of all the different cosmetic products, how they work in combination and the effects that will result from their usage. You must be a good talker, a good listener, and able to make people feel at ease. You need to be able to spot the basic structure of a person's face and identify the aspects to highlight and those to hide! Many attend makeup courses of one form or another, but there may be no hard and fast requirements.
