Making Your Web Browser More Secure

Computing : Online Security

To make your web browser more secure there are a few things you can do.

First get a pop up blocker to stop those annoying pop ups coming from a legitimate site that could load any site under the sun.

Remember to also if you want disable ActiveX controls and other things such as JavaScript - anything that could potentially be exploited by an unscrupulous site.

Set the security level high and if you really want to go to town with it create a list of approved sites and get your web browser to warn you if you ever try to stray from those sites and only let the others load if you confirm that you want to go to a certain site.
