How To Melt Chocolate

Melt chocolate by breaking it up and putting it up in a small plastic bag. Put it in a bowl of hot water. Cut off the corner of the bag and you can drizzle it on cakes etc.

The fastest and simplest way I have tried is using the microwave oven. Put the chocolate in a microwave-safe dish, heat it HIGH in the oven until it is SHINY in appearance. Take it out & stir & you will see the usual melted form of chocolate. BEAR in mind that chocolate will scorch if it is heated too long. SHINY is the key word!
