In general all you would be expected to have is a watch on your wrist and also a wedding ring or engagement jewellery etc Lots of rings, ear piercings, neck chains and so on would not be expected to be worn in the workplace so if you have these or like to wear them then in most circumstances it would be advisable to take them off at work - and particularly in the first couple of weeks at a new work place until you work out if they allow that sort of thing or not.
