Mobile Phone Scams

Money : Money Management

Another scam is where someone phones up and pretends to be from your mobile company, offering you an upgraded service or phone.

All they need is your details so that they can check that you are the right person.

You should always put the phone down and call the company back on the recognised number you have for them and start the conversation again.

Note: some legit companies do use this tactic, but always better safe than sorry - call back on the number that you know to be authentic!
