Money Mistakes

Money : Saving

We all make mistakes with money from time to time. Here are some common ones and how to avoid them.

Many retailers put prices at £9.99 for example and mark them 1p less in order to fool customers that it looks cheaper, as 9 is less than 10.

Three for two offers arent always worth getting either, as they just force people into buying things they dont actually need. Basically you think you may be getting a good deal when you actually arent.

If someone hears or reads about a bad experience, they may decide to avoid it themselves, for example a terrorist attack on a plane may make someone stop flying for the rest of the year. If one person writes a bad review about a product or company, then many people just refuse to use it altogether. They dont weigh up all the pros and cons and other people's opinions.

Emotional purchases can be a bad option too. You may want something but cant really afford it and dont actually need it. However people will think up of excuses as to why they needed it afterwards.
