The problem with the higher value properties is that it takes so much more money to develop on them and get the high rents. In contrast on the blues just ?50 gets a house, which means that you can develop the whole set straight to hotels for just ?750 - the equivalent only gets a house on each of the greens! Therefore if you get the chance prioritise to the lower value properties in Monopoly for the best chance of winning, statistically at least!
