Draw a line down the middle.

On the left: what you can't do know or feel bad about.

On the right: how it'll be once you've dieted.

e.g.
Con:
I feel unhealthy

Pro: I will feel healthier, and hence happier

Con:
I can't keep up with the kids

Pro:
It'll be me running rings around THEM!

By looking at this notebook at key times, when low and so on, and visualising what it'll be like when you reach your target, you will feel refreshed and motivated to achieve what you want.
