How To Move On
Relationships : Teenagers Sometimes it can be really hard to move on from a previous relationship. Particularly if it was a long relationship - or your first - then you might hold it in particularly high affection and regard. The key is to realise that every relationship is a learning experience, and to try and take the good from it, whilst noting down the bad and trying to avoid in the future. Don't be sad for the fact that it still isn't but be glad that it happened at all. Also be sure to remember that there were bad times too - that's why you split up. Don't focus on the good times alone and want it back. The best way to get over something is to stop contact at all - that means no texts and phone calls, or meeting up. It is hard at first, but the best way in the long term to overcome previous relationships.
