How To Neutralise Ammonia Solution

Cleaning : Carpet Cleaning

Ammonia solution is great for stains, but it is very alkaline solution and therefore you need to take steps to neutralise it once you have applied it.

The best household product for this is of course vinegar which is a midly acidic product and therefore can help to neutralise the alkali that is the ammonia solution.

All you need to do is get a little vinegar and water and pour onto the ammonia solution.

Once done you simply blot it dry and remove any excess. Finally rinse with plain water.
