Online Is Actually Very Secure When You Consider...

Computing : Online Security

There is a fallacy that goes round that shopping online is much less secure than offline.

But a proper encrypted, secure server is actually very safe. People are just wary as they don't see the people involved.

But when you hand over your credit card to the person posing as a waiter at the restaurant, or in general when you hand it over, there is nothing to stop anyone swiping your card and having all your details at their disposal right there and then ready to use elsewhere.

And over the phone you give all the same details but totally unencrypted, therefore it is not right to think that the more traditional methods are in fact any more secure.
