| Miscellaneous When it comes to organising an event there is only one secret that you need to know: and that is the secret of planning! Plan, plan, plan and then plan some more. Draw up a list of timescales, rank how hard each aspect is and who you need to get involved. Try to call and arrange early. It is also a good idea to get some contingencies in place because we all know that someone like the star attraction for the event can pull out at the last minute leaving you scuppered and therefore you need to have someone or something else that can fill that void if the worst comes to the worst. If it all seems too much then the other perfectly viable and respectable option is of course simply to get someone in to arrange the event for you!
