In fact generally negative statements of any form, if not completely justified or within a certain context, can be taken to show that you have bad attitude. No-one wants a whinger working for them, so if you start talking about your own personal hard luck story of life, then you are unlikely to get employed, even if it many ways feeling sorry for yourself is completely justified. So, smile and be happy and positive throughout.
