Do not ramble.

It may be tempting if you don't know what to say to simply make the same point a few times. Do not do this.

The reader needs to be able to have access to relevant information about yourself and your application.

If something is not necessary and does not contribute to their understanding of you, then you should remove it.

Motto: If in doubt, cut it out.
