Part 4j: Applying Speculatively For A Job

Jobs : Successful Job Search CV Covering Letter And Exams

If you are applying speculatively, then you need to also be clear about what job exactly you are interested in, what sort of work you want - part-time/full-time/summer placement, paid or voluntary, and refer briefly to the situation that you are currently in.

Are you working at the moment? if so, full-time? or have you been on maternity leave and looking to come back into a different job now that you have children to think about?

Or perhaps you are at university about to finish, or simply half-way through, your degree.

The employer will find all these details useful, so include them.
