Part 5j: Interview Tests Summarised
Jobs : Successful Job Search CV Covering Letter And Exams Ultimately, read every question carefully, and take your time. Better to get 3/4s of the questions correct than answer every question, but get over half of them wrong due to careless avoidable errors caused by misreading the question or rushing. If you have the exams before the interview and they do not go as well as expected, then do not whatever you do let it put you off the interview. This is because a good strong interview performance can really sway them in your favour even if you are not top on the tests. Also, it is often difficult to tell how you did on those tests so do not waste time worrying about it. Also, if you found it difficult then it is likely to be the case that it was simply a difficult test, and that the other candidates found it hard as well and are thinking the same thing, even if they pretend that it went well to put you off or out-psych you - a tactic that has been known to happen in the past.
