How To Phase Your Fitness Plan

Health And Fitness : Exercise Guide

When trying to get fit, you can't just go all out forever.

You need rather to have phases, some are more intense, others are more relaxed.

Have 30 day phases of particular sets of exercise.

Ensure that during that period the exercise you do adjusts in accordance with how fit you become and how used to the exercises you have as well as your targets.

As they get better many people do not look to increase the reps which means that once they hit a certain level they just stay there instead of progressing further, for instance.

Note that over the longer term you may want to hit a maintenance level where you stay and only kick into a higher gear or intense level again when you feel that it is necessary.
