Plaza del Mercado: Lonja de la Seda, Santos Juanes and Mercado Central

The Plaza del Mercado has 3 interesting buildings - a silk market, which is of a gothic civil architecture, the Santos Juanes Church in a baroque style and of course the Central Market, which is a diverse market situated in a stunning modernist building.

La Catedral, El Miguelete and Plaza de la Virgen

The bell tower at El Miguelete has stunning views so is worth visiting! The Plaza de la Virgen stands on the site that once was the forum of Roman Valencia.

Torres de Serranos

The Serranos Towers are thought to be the biggest Gothic city gateway in Europe. A very historical and educational attraction.

La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias

Definitely one for budding architects or artists! This stunning complex includes 4 buildings - A laserium, planetarium, IMAX cinema and a science museum. It has an opera house and giant marine park included.

Jardin Botanico

This Botanic Garden was created in 1567 for medicinal plants, and moved in 1802.
