How To Play Charades
| Games : Party Games Charades is a great fun and common party game. Basically it involves simply trying to get people to guess the name of something you are thinking of, but the catch is you can't say it you have to act it! Therefore for instance if you pick a film, then you will first indicate its a film by doing a set action, normally pretending to be winding on a camera. Once they work it out, say how many words using your fingers. Then pick the easiest word to act out, and do a mime for it. So if the word was 'tennis', then you might pretend to hit a tennis ball with a racquet, for instance. Clearly some words are much easier to pick out than others. The key to your go is picking something that is easy to act out!
