The first thing you need to do is create a sound file - for this all you need is a microphone, as basic software to record sound comes with Windows, for instance XP has sound recorder. The hardest part is non-technical - working out what to say, and making it interesting. Once you've recorded your file, it's simply a case of uploading it to either your own site, or a podcasting host, in order to share with others. Try and make it available as a RSS/XML feed and submit to podcasting directories, like at apple itunes, for good exposure.
