How To Protect Your Wrists When Typing
| Computing : Computer Health When typing it is important that your wrists aren't undergoing any form of strain. Therefore you should make sure that you use the correct technique at the keyboard and have arms and wrists in the right position. Crucial to this is the height of the chair - you don't want it so that your wrists are pointing upward from below or that they are well above the keyboard level and suspended without support. Therefore get the chair height right first. Then remember that it is a good idea to get a soft keyboard cushion mat. This is placed directly beneath the keyboard and supports the wrists that then rest on it and reach up to hit the keys. This is a good and comfortable position.
