How To Reduce Jetlag

Travel : Travel Tips

If you are going on a long flight, then you might know that you can suffer from jetlag.

For some people this can be a big problem, whilst for others they can seemingly adjust without any issues to different timezones, different meal times - and sleeping at different times of the day.

Here are some tips on how to help reduce the issues and problems that jetlag can bring:

The key is to make sure that you have EXTRA sleep before the trip - not less as some people think.

Then, during the flight itself try and get some sleep.

Try and ensure that you take meals for the day or two before you go on holiday at the same time as it will be in your destination location.

You could even try and get closer to those sleep patterns before you go. In other words, the key is to synchronise yourself with the new time zone gradually, to reduce the 'shock' of instant changes on arrival.
