How To Reduce Volume In An MPEG

Computing : Computer Sound Music And Video

If you have an MPEG but the audio is too loud and possibly distorting, then there are many options to play with the sound. These include the quite complicated to the very simple.

The very simple can be performed by anyone with Movie Maker which is free on XP.

Simply load up the Movie, go to the audio settings specifically, and you'll notice that one of the options that's made available to you is actually to adjust the volume of the master sound absolutely - so you can turn the volume down just like you would on your remote!

This will reduce the volume and hence minimise people noticing any distortion, and get the balance you want between sound and vision.
