How To Relax Your Back

One of the more modern injuries that can occur is back strain or pain, due to hours spent in the office typing away at the computer, and sitting fairly still in the office chair.
So what can be done to help here, given that we are unlikely to move away from the desk any time soon?
Well this simple exercise might help:
Lie down, arms at your side, knees bent
Tighten stomach muscles, and breathe long, deep and slow
Relax the stomach. Repeat a couple of times.
Hopefully this should help to relax your back.
Note that if you do have back pain on a persistent basis then you should always consult with your doctor or equivalent medical practicioner to see what can be done to help your situation and that you take steps to ensure that the matter does not get worse.
