How To Remember Numbers
| Self Development : Brain Power Some times you won't need to remember words or lists of tangible items, but rather things such as numbers. Often these will be large numbers, perhaps in the millions. You might be remembering the answer to some sum, or even a sequence of some importance as an example. Or the typical example in the modern world would be remembering some username or passcode for some bank account or similar: how much easier it is to remember these than have to store them in some code somewhere! How to remember these sort of larger numbers then? The best method is to split them into small bits. One useful system to then use is the number shapes system, whereby each number becomes a shape of some object, which you then combine. Thus to remember the number 5244011 you might think of a snake and a swan (5 and 2) sailing some boats (4, 4) through a giant golden ring (0) chased by two giant pencils (1, 1). Try it now. Try to remember a number of your choice own choice of seven digits. Come back tomorrow and try to recall that number. Now try to remember 5244011 but using that mental image, of the snake and swan riding sail boats through a giant golden ring pursued by massive pencils - see that imagine in your head. You should find that you will be able to recall this number now with ease for a long time to come. Next time you need to remember a pin number or similar, use this system and remembering numbers will no longer be a hassle.
