Well according to reader Anthony, it is all actually quite easy! He says that he was taught parrot fashion and still remembers how to multiply everything many years later just as quickly. So perhaps if you are learning now you could go back to the old fashioned way and teach yourself by rote, and this will help you with your multiplication for many years to come.
