I'm sure we've all done a little bit of painting in our time.

Whilst many of us like a dabble if the paint goes somewhere other than the canvas by mistake (unless we're a modern artist) then it can be quite difficult to clean it.

Therefore it's lucky that we have this excellent readers tip that tells you just what to do should such a situation occur for you:

How to get dried-on oil paint off a pallet (or other surface): A chisel knife will get most of the lumps and bumps off much more effectively than a pallet knife And once you've done that, use a baby wipe to get the rest off.

Baby wipes are amazing for removing paint from tables, pallets, hands and even canvas.
