Health And Fitness : Running Technique This is a variant on the ankle run already described in another article, but here what you should ensure that you do is to lift your knees alternately up to your chest on every other step. When doing this, you need to ensure that you keep the rhythm as even as you can - which is in itself a useful training tip to help you get a smooth running technique as rhythm is key to the most efficient, effortless and ultimately quickest running motion. You should also be sure that you use your calves rather than your knees to do this!
