Self Employment: Keep In Touch With Existing Clients

Business : Self Employment

If there is one thing that you must do when self employed, it is to keep in touch with existing clients.

If you have done a good job then there is a great chance that they will come back to you for future and similar work.

But if you don't talk regularly you will not be at the top of their minds giving the door a little opening for others to come in and take work that could be yours!

Therefore be sure to be in touch every couple of months even if just a phonecall to find out how they are or the occasional lunch time meeting and so on.

The bottom line is that you need to keep and maintain contact with those in your network who can help you to gain work to get the most out of them in terms of potential work.

Keep a list of your key network contacts and when you last called them. Whilst it might sound a bit calculated it need not be like that, it is just another useful record that you are keeping.
