| Business : Self Employment When you are self employed there are some things that you need to avoid as much as there are things that you actively need to pursue. You need to avoid, first and foremost, drifting and being sloppy with your targets. It can be hard to be disciplined but that's exactly what you must be and from as early a time as is at all possible. You also need to avoid pretending that you are working or spending too much time on easy but low value work. If you are not feeling challenged in your work when self employed then you are probably not doing all that you can to get work and more business.
