Therefore you should do all that you can to build a dialogue with existing customers and to keep it going over a period of time. Do not let a relationship lapse and turn frosty, but rather ensure that you every month or two re-open the dialogue with a customer. Christmas is a great time for you to do PR and build the relationship. Get some mouse mats or coasters, or pens or fridge magnets made up cheaply, and then send them out with a card to a client. As well as being a nice touch, you might have done some very good advertising into the bargain!
