One reason you may get time wasters is if the information you give is not accurate enough and therefore only by coming round will someone work out if a place is for them or not. The way to stop this is through giving accurate and detailed information in your marketing material so that those who come should think that the property does fit their requirements. You can often talk to people before they come and get a good level of information as to their real interest - for instance how far they are likely to proceed. Whilst most will exaggerate if others won't even do that then you know they may just be researching the market to sell their own home, for instance.
