How To Send Bcc Email In Outlook Express

Computing : Software

Sometimes you will want to send email to a whole range of people and won't want each member to see the email address of the other list members.

This is easily achieved using the 'bcc' field, or blind carbon copy, on outlook express. This is similar to 'cc' except that the users can't see each other - in other words, exactly what you are after!

However the field is not switched on my default, but this can be resolved quite easily.

Here's what to do:

- create a new message in outlook express

- click on 'view'

- then click 'all headers'

You will see a 'bcc' field pop up under the 'cc' field. Now simply use this field to place all the email addresses in, and there you have it - the ability to send messages to many people without disclosing your list of email addresses!
