How To Serve In Tennis

Sport : Tennis

To serve, you need to change your grip from that you use as a beginner.

As a beginner, you use the forehand grip. You need to take a leap of faith, and switch to what's known as the chopper grip.

To use this grip, hold the racquet as though you are about to shake hands (roughly the racquet will be sideways in your hands, so you only see the frame)

Then, serve, flicking your wrist so as the strings hit the ball, not the frame. At first it might go horribly wrong, but over time you will find this will help you really to improve your serve!
