| DIY : Home Repair If you buy air conditioning unit for your home, then please remember not to make the mistake many people do. Remember that it sucks out the hot air and has to eject it somewhere - many people forget this and put the hot air back into the room they are cooling, making it very inefficient indeed. Rather make sure you connect the output vent somewhere else - don't shove out the window as again that means you are getting air from outside, usually warm in, and working against the air con unit. If possible have a vent on the outside wall or if you are in an upstairs room consider putting the output warm air into the attic.
