To soften stiff leather shoes, rub in hair conditioner and work well into the leather. For really heavy shoes (such as boys school shoes)repeat the conditioning the following day.

If shoes are too tight. Take an soak a cotton ball with alcohol. Put it inside the shoe wear it is tight. Soak that area. Remove cotton and walk around in the shoes. Do this until it feels more comfortable.

You can leather shoes with mineral oil.
