Or you could place ice cubs behind the fan so as they melt it your room temperature will drop. If you have trouble sleeping in the heat, then you can put damp sheets on your bed. As the water evaporates at night it will cool your skin. Drink lots of water, wear thin clothing and little make up. Take regular showers and you could also dab cold water all over your skin and not dry yourself. This is good for a quick fix cool. Spending less time upstairs helps too, and ice cold drinks are a bonus.
