Well first you need to see why the clogging happens - it is due to the salt getting wet and absorbing moisture from the air. So to stop this all you need do is put a few grains of rice in with the salt. That's because they will absorb moisture in preference to the salt and therefore stop it clogging up - easy when you know how!
