How To Stop Applications Taking Over On XP

There is nothing more annoying that working away in one Window, only for another one to pop up - or another application to appear or load up - and take away the focus from the current application.

If you want to stop this happening then you can edit the registry to stop this occurance from happening. To do so follow these steps:

Start Regedit

--> Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER Control Panel Desktop

--> Edit the key ForegroundLockTimeout

--> Give it a value of 00030d40
