How To Stop Car Freezing
Hobbies : Cars And Motoring If your car freezes in winter and when it is cold, then you will know what a pain it can be in the morning. Going out in the cold with hat and scarf and scraping off the ice, or using de-icer to try and shift it - and unsticking the windscreen wipers and so on. What can you do to stop the windscreen freezing over? Here are two practical tips. One is to place a sheet of cardboard or similar over the windscreen each night to protect it from the damp in the air condensing and forming ice. Another simple tip is to get a half of an onion and to rub gently over the windscreen. The effect of this will be to lower the temperature at which water freezes to ice, and therefore minimises the chances of ice forming on the windscreen.
