How To Stop Cuffs And Hems Of A Jumper Going Baggy

Beauty : Summer Beauty

Here is a great tip from Fran on how to do this and ensure that your clothes stay in good condition for a long time to come!

Using a large eyed darning needle, thread up some shearing elastic in a matching (or close) colour and sew around the cuffs and hem, about a centemetre from the edge.

Use the natural ribbing to guide the size of stich (a running stitch is perfect).

Fasten off, making sure you haven't pulled the elastic too tight.
