How To Stop Fruit Sinking To The Bottom Of A Cake

Food And Drink : Desserts

There is nothing more frustrating than baking a fruit cake only to find that all the fruit has gone to the bottom of the cake leaving plain cake at the top and nothing but fruit at the bottom!

Prepare the cherries first by washing them, patting them dry on kitchen paper and then tossing them in flour before adding them to your cake mixture.
