How To Stop Making Yourself Unhappy

That's because we tend to be overly critical of ourselves, or always wanting something above that which we have - comparing ourselves to others and feeling inferior by comparison. The first thing you need to do is become aware of how you saboutage yourself. When thoughts come into your head, actually write them down if they are related to yourself, your ideas and your self worth. At the end of the day you might have a long list! The next step is to mentally train yourself to block any thoughs of negativity or 'can't do' as soon as they crop up in your mind. If you have negative energy that you need to get out, rather than take it out on yourself and put yourself down, keep an anger diary instead and write it all down there. By venting frustrations and thoughts at someone other than yourself, a great weight will be lifted and happiness much easier to obtain.
