How To Stop Pets Chewing Cords

Pets : Other Pets

Clearly there are severe dangers for any live creature that comes in contact with electricity.

Some pets seem more interested in things like electrical cords than others.

First of all, ensure that all cords wherever possible are tucked away and out of reach of inquisitive animals.

One method that will work well is to always have something more interesting in any room your pet goes than the cords - for instance a favourite toy to play with.

If you are particularly concerned, then apply something like lemon juice spray (or something else your pet doesn't really like) to the cords, to ward them off.
