How To Stop Spots
Beauty : Skincare As soon as you see one coming up, dab a bit of water on it and apply toothpaste to the area, preferably before you go to bed. Rinse this off in the morning with warm soapy water. Face washs and scrubs that claim to get rid of spots don’t always work and often contain chemicals that can be harsh to your skin and dry it out very quickly or cause irritations. Some to help to open up pores and remove dirt though, so try out a few different ones and see which work the best for you. Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fresh fruit. Try to avoid fatty foods as this can sometimes come out in your skin if you eat in excess. The moisturiser you use is very important – some can actually bring you out in more spots than usual. I find that Nivea Light Touch body lotion is very good as its light on your skin and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy. Once, I used E45 on my face before bed and the next day I was covered. Also don’t apply loads of cream. Avoid touching your face throughout the day as this may cause them to spread, and make sure you wash your face before applying make up, and at night remember to remove it all before bed. Foundation can sometimes cause an outbreak on your skin too so opt for a tinted moisturiser which has a lighter and fresher feel to it.
