How To Stop Squirrels Stealing Your Nuts
| Pets : Other Pets It's an annoying problem, those pesky grey squirrels are so good at getting on the bird nuts. Many a person is left tearing their hair out at the way that the squirrels manage to climb the pole to get the nuts. So make it much harder for them by making it a greasy pole. If you cover the pole in some sort of oil or grease then when they try to run up it they won't be able to get a grip, even with their paws that are so well adapted for things like running up tree trunks. They will instead slide down... they may try several times before giving up. Just remember to keep it greased regularly, as as soon as the grease goes down, squirrel will go up!
