Strategic Alliances And The Small Business

Business : Home Working

One very beneficial element or possibility that many small businesses never actually consider is if there are strategic alliances they could form with other companies.

These often work very well for both parties, but few consider them.

For instance if there is a natural business you could pair with and share work and offer a fuller service then why not consider it?

Not uncommon will be a web designer, for instance, who is excellent at web design but has no expertise in the graphical area. Yet many people want imagery and the website design.

So why not team up with a graphic designer to do that side for you and offer a more complete service to the client? This saves them going elsewhere. So you team up.

Similarly the other party could pass any clients who want their imagery for a web site on to you and therefore you both gain from it; two people's marketing efforts may result in work for you rather than just one, and the client gets a more complete service.

Certainly consider if there are any possible alliances you could form to help yourself and your business.
