The trapezius muscle is that at the upper back, and this stretch is therefore for those areas that you may sometimes find hard to exercise and stretch.
All that you do is lie down on the mat. Then, extend the right arm across the chest, with the palm up and weight on the upper arm.
Now - ensuring that you don't move that arm! - twist the body gently and slightly to your left, and you should feel the stretch in your right trapexium and deltoid.
Once you feel the stretch, stop and hold for around 20 seconds. Finally, switch sides and do the same again holding the stretch for 20 seconds.
