Over time you get a feel for an item, and the sort of description and wording that is more likely to increase a sale. Your first couple of listings might come across as robotic or not 'press the right buttons'. This feel is something that only comes through time, so if you are disappointed with your first couple of sales, then don't give up. If after five or so sales you are still not selling, then consider if your price is wrong or if there is no interest in the item you are selling (which is unlikely)
