This means anticipating problems and potential solutions in advance and dealing with them then, rather than sitting back passively and waiting for things to happen. It means constantly thinking about the business; what has gone well what could go better - what could be done to make it go better. Anticipation in business is something that comes with practice and experience but once you have it in your armoury it will serve you well.
