| Career : Career Development Another key skill you will need to succeed in business is to be pro-active. This means anticipating problems and potential solutions in advance and dealing with them then, rather than sitting back passively and waiting for things to happen. It means constantly thinking about the business; what has gone well what could go better - what could be done to make it go better. Anticipation in business is something that comes with practice and experience but once you have it in your armoury it will serve you well. If you haven't done so for a while just sit down for half an hour and think through the above questions - you are sure to come up with some good ideas.
